Founded in 2002 in Gothenburg by a team of marine engineers, Humphree provides advanced stabilization and trim control systems for both professional and leisure vessels, from commercial ships and patrol boats to luxury yachts.

A new brand platform set the course

Through collaborative workshops across the organization, we defined Humphree’s purpose, positioning, and audiences, and developed strategies to strengthen awareness and performance.

This led to a comprehensive brand platform, the foundation for communication and long-term growth. At its core is the brand promise More Days at Sea, a unifying idea that creates value for both professional and leisure users and ensures consistent communication across every touchpoint.

Guided by this promise, we shaped a new visual identity and tone of voice, launched a modern website, and produced cross-channel content supported by a digital performance strategy to drive sales.

The result: a sharper, more premium brand experience that positions Humphree as a modern, customer-centric, and digitally connected leader.

A distinctive new identity

Precision, performance, and balance now define the brand visually. The new identity features a bold logotype, a dynamic color system, and a streamlined design language, reflecting a brand that is both engineered and elevated. Together with a refined tone of voice, the identity now speaks with clarity and confidence to all audiences.

To ensure brand consistency and enable fast execution, we provided in-house tools and templates. This empowered the Humphree team to produce content quickly, stay aligned with the new tone, and maintain visual coherence across all channels.

Together with sister agencies Understandit, Tion Digital, and Silverbullet Film, we created a responsive website. Start Communication led the project from start to finish, creating a site that unites technical depth with intuitive UX and narrative clarity. With a clear structure, modular design, and benefit-led content, the website now reflects Humphree’s precision and performance in every detail.
